The State Fair

Our family loves the fair!! This year as Tony is older and loves animals, he enjoyed it much more than he did last year. Mike had fun showing Tony everything he likes too. Tony likes snakes, he has 2 pet stuffed snakes. One is yellow with black and red stripes, it hangs on the cutains. The other is a huge red snake that he carries right behind the head and lets the body drag behind him all throughout the house!! Mike likes reptiles so we make it to the show. After the show, the guy had a snake out that people could hold, touch, feel and take a picture with. Tony of course through the whole show wanted to touch all the animal and "go get them", so we went to go see the snake....... I thought Tony would chicken out and get scared, but he did awesome and loved it. After we left, all he wanted was to go back and hold the snake. I could just see him try to hold it like he does at home.

This is the Place

We went to Heritage Park with all the cousins, uncle Bill took them for a wagon ride up and down the hill. The kids loved it, especially going on all the bumps and down the hill fast!! In the ZCMI store, upstairs they have pioneer clothing and fun hats. We liked this one on Tony.

TRAINS, TRAINS, TRAINS!!!!!! We love train rides. the park had 2 of them. The kids sure loved them. The parents did too, just to get off our feet and in the shade in the mid day, hot heat in August.

Anything with animals.... We're, well Tony is there!! He loves farms that you can touch the animals!! He liked to see how far his fingers would sink into the sheep coats. He ran from animal to animal. His new game is, "whats this mom?" and then he would continue to make animal noises. Mom and Dad would have to guess what animal. He gets into it, it's kinda funny sometimes. We were at the library the other day for story time. While the lady was reading the book at a quiet part, Tony belted "One, Two, Three, Four, Military style" It's from jungle book. His favorite part is the elephants!!

I'm back

Hey Everyone!!!

I've been very busy, distracted and occupied. I haven't blogged since what May? Well, here is a little catch up....Mike Tony & I have had a great summer!!!! We did a ton of things around town. I finished my basement, we went to Flaming Gorge, This is the Park @ Heritage Point, lots of camping, hiking, I've been playing volleyball on a couple leagues, TONY'S 2 yr. birthday, Lagoon, swimming, fireworks, more swimming, youth conference, girls camp, weekend in Midway with friends (thanks Angie), couple girls nights out while my sister Chelle who was home from school, (Love you Chelle), girls night out with my sister in laws, lots of bar b-q's. Grandma went on mission & 6 weeks into it she fell down a cement staircase and shattered her shoulder, she had surgery and therapy had time to heal and was sent right back out to where she originally was in Croatia. All of this and we've had company through it all!!! My sisters condo building caught on fire. So, she lives here with her Husband, Ray and their baby Lizzy.

Where ever water could be found, you would find Tony. He is such a fish, he never wants to leave the water!!! From the lake, to a pool, to splash pads, to a puddle of water, we found it all!Just the splish and splashes were not enough for him. Somehow he was able to get soaked from just a puddle. He loves to be submereged into it all.
