San Diego Trip...

We went on vacation to San Diego, in the middle of May. We had so much fun with my cousin Hailey and Clayton (who are expecting their first, the end of July!!) We stayed with them Friday night to Monday morning. Tony absolutely LOVED Clayton. Tony would wake up in the morning and ask "Where is he?", "Can I go get him?" He thought Clayton was the funniest guy and played with him none stop. We went to church with them on Mothers Day, Sunday. I was so excited to actually sit with Mike. Their ward gave the mothers the best chocolate ever!! Hailey and I finished them in the second block. We had so much fun with them and miss them alot!!!! This picture is sadly one of the only pictures we have of the time we spent with them. We played games and turned on a movie for Tony. He was glued to "Land Before Time". He has never seen it before. He didn't pay attention to anything but the movie.

Sea World!!! Tony has been waiting such a long time to go to Sea World!!! First things first, we had to see the dolphin show. Tony has had so much anticipation to see the dolphins for real and so close. He thought they were funny. We sat right in the SOAK ZONE, but didn't even get a drop.

Dad and Tony loved all the aquariums they have. They just look so happy. Tony ran from tank to tank with the biggest smile!! Saying "wow look at this one", "look at this one mom and dad".

SHAMU!!!! Need I say more?? Tony was hillarious with the killer whales. He kept saying "this is my Shamu", "look at my Shamu", "My Shamu is coming"

The Baluga Whale was right up close to the glass. Tony was amazed and thought it was great.

Tony thought it was fun that the whale was showing off for him and doing tricks. We were suprised to see how huge they really are.

We took a ride on the air tram and saw the Park and Ocean from above. Tony kept saying "were flying". I think he was a little nervous because he stayed in my lap and held still.

Hands On!!! Tony LOVED touching the animals!! He thought it was so cool to hold the star fish! There were so many for him to choose one, he wanted to hold them all one by one.

After he was done with the star fish, he ran striaght to dad to see the sea urchants!!

Again, Tony loved "HIS" Shamu!!!!

Tony thought it was so funny when he splashed the water all over everyone. Mike and I were a little disappointed, because again, we sat in the soak zone and didn't get wet!

All that counts is that Tony loved it!

We survived Sea World with out a nap!! He looked a little tired at the end.
If you can't tell, yes, that is a fish right behind him.
At the WILD ANIMAL PARK, it was so hot and lots of walking around, we were so glad to see the little splash park they had. Of course, Tony only played with the alligator spitting water.

Okay so we tried to take a family photo by ourselves! At least we have one, right? Almost the only shade at the Wild Animal Park.

No one was coming so we put the camera on the other side of the bridge on the timer.

We took the little train ride that took us around the perimeter of the African part of the park.

Tony loved watching this "huge lizard" moving around. He couldn't get enough of it. Each time we walked by he stopped for several minutes at a time.

The best part is when he gets to touch the animals.

We loved the elephants!!! Tonys favorite animal!!!

They came eight up next to the edge, I was waiting for Tony to fall down, he was leaning over so far!!
It was funny to see how the Giraffes bend over to get a drink.

Mike fed these cute little birds. Tony wanted in on the action and very carefully placed his hand around the fruit nectar.

San Diego, USS Midway. The aircraft carrier was HUGE!!! We took the tour through the entire thing.

Tony just thought it was great to be on "the big boat" and to sit in the air plane and "fly" it.

Just like Tony, Mike wanted in on the action. It was so funny to look away and back again to see him with a HUGE Grinn sitting in the plane.

Tony took me for a fun ride, Of course He had to be the pilot!! His huge grinn just says it all.

The boys!! One big and one small one, I love them both!! Thanks to them we had a great trip!!
The whole way home, Tony asked if we were going to the beach!! He loved the beach and playing in the water. He asks every once in a while if we can go to the beach, poor kid.
