TWILIGHT

Recently I've been spending all my time reading. For those who know me, I know I know it's a shocker. The last book I remember reading was over 5 years ago, and before that it was a couple more years. I don't usually like to read!! I'd much rather spend my time doing anything but reading. I'd rather do dishes or vacuum. I've heard all this hype about these stupid books, all my sisters, friends, neighbors, and young women. If all these people keep talking about it and how good it is and the movie was coming out, I had this little curiosity in the back of my head. But read, yeah right!! So I pushed it off. I thought maybe I'd start reading, but then of course, talked myself out of it, "Most people don't like the movies after they've read the book." So, maybe I'd read it after I saw the movie. I took my sister Chelle to the movie for her birthday. I liked it and thought why not, mine as well, nothing to lose.

So, needless to say. I feel like all I have been doing the last 4 weeks is reading the Twilight series. To my suprise, I really like them. Every minute Tony was taking a nap or in bed for the night, I was reading, the minute I put him in bed!! I felt bad that I was happy he was in bed, but I was, sad to say, addicted. I'm glad I'm done, I don't feel so locked into the books!! There is a sense of accomplishment too!! My own record of reading anything!! Four of them and Edwards Version in less than 4 weeks, may not be fast for others. But a record for me.

ha ha, I am totally laughing! They are addicting aren't they? I read the first 3 in one weekend. And I am not a big reader either. I didn't like the movie, though (parts of it sure, but not as a whole). I still think they should have gotten Orlando Bloom to play Edward, yummy! I guess it would be hard to make him look 17 for the next four years?.

I'm not the biggest reader either and I got sucked into reading them as well. I think it was better that you saw the movie before reading the books...as I didn't like the movie as much because I was always comparing. Yeah for books!

Yep, I even got Carlin into those books! They sure do suck you in - I read them right after I had Samuel.

Oh no!! You've been sucked in now too? I haven't read them and I haven't seen the movie either. I can't decide if it's really that I'm just not interested or that I'm so stubborn that I refuse to just because everyone else tells me I have to.
